Great color and nice amount of buds. Now, what is it?

You know, I have no idea what it is. I got it from my mother in law a year ago in poor condition. Go figure, the first orchid to bloom for me is the one I saved! I know it's a dend though, but that's it.

Hey hey! Congrats! The first bloom is definitely a serious thrill. But it will continue to be thrilling each time you bloom another 'chid for the first time. Good work!!

Lucky you! I'm still waiting for my Den. phal type to bloom, it had several new growths this past year and the stems swelled up, but no spike to be seen. Do you have it in bright light? Any tips would be appreciated!
Again, good growing! It's a beaut!
