nice lil harlequin ...
IMO. Too lazy to get off my duff and go check the name tag at the moment. Got this one from a BBS. Keep hoping it will choose to grace me w/a new spike. Ah well, at least it decided to flower from the old spike.
(Oh and yeah, I know, I should really clean the leaves off next time........... )

I was at home depot today and all they had were the same boring whites and pinkish-purples. I guess its a good thing though because otherwise It would be too easy and I'd be spend a lot more money on orchids. As it is now I pretty much only buy the really cool looking ones at shows during the winter-spring "show season".

Sorry if this is off topic, but I have a silly question -
Are all phals with a white background with maroonish splotches considered a 'Harlequin'? I've seen a lot like this and it seems they are always called harlequin something. I have one (photo below) that fits that description, but I've never seen one EXACTLY like it. Is it safe to call mine a harlequin?
