Default Something Different?

I went to one of the Big Box stores (the one where they wear the BLUE smocks) just to look around and walked out with this neat ratching screwdriver set just to open a charge account that I'll probably never use and anothr chid! Well, as things would have it, I used the charge card to get 10% off the chid. There are two plants in the pot....probably a basilar keiki...can't see the base because of all the sphag which will be gone soon. But notice the flowers....each spike comes off each of the two plants! Maybe they look the same to you but to my eye they are different....just a curiosity, I guess....

They look different to me also Doc. They are both very pretty I can see how you couldn't resist. My big box store with the blue smocked people never has anything that looks that good!! After awhile I stopped looking. They don't have chids often, and when they do they're about half dead.

Terri, I must say I got lucky this time. Usually, they do look nasty...and this time was no exception. Most had blasted buds and broken spikes.....and when I got there, it looked like they had just been put out!!!!!

They are different and odds are spiking from 2 different phal plants in the same pot not sure what gave that away Seen this before at the depot when they repot in mass production. Sometimes we have to thank the vendor for getting 2 for the price of one... Oh by the way the depot has 12 months no interest no payment plus $25.00 on your purchase...could have been a freebie for ya... but no doubt you got the best deal.

I'll third the "different" choice! Maybe two seedlings from the same cross - slightly different mix of genes.......Both nice!

Love them! Nice colors! Let us know if it are two plants or mother with child :-)
