Hi Bejay

I got three of the Taida Sunshine seedlings from Rob last year and now all three have bloomed. This first one bloomed about two months ago.

This is #2 about three weeks ago.

And this is #3, bloomed about ten days ago. This is my favorite because it carries more of the tetraspis petal shape.

All three slightly different and is a good example of the variation in seed produced hybrids.

Good growing!

Brooke

Hi Brooke!
Mine looks like ur #2.
Don't you find the bunch of tiny hairs on the lip tip fascinating (from tetraspis)?
I was wondering, does the spike dry up or is it "evergreen" like tetraspis?
thnx,
Ben

This is an absolutely stunning primary hybrid! I'd love to get my hands on one of these.

Ben the hairy lip is from tetraspis and I don't have a clue about the spike. When they are done blooming I will keep them until they tell me.

Right now they more closely resemble an equestris spike but shorter. My tetraspis spikes grow almost horizontal so it will be fun to watch what they do. They may all
be different :>)

Camille if you didn't live across the big pond I would send you one.

Brooke

I'm going to try to hunt one down in Europe. If I can't find it, then it looks like I will have to get both equestris and tetraspis and make the cross myself!

What a beauty! Each of the four is a bit different from the others but each shows parentage. Nice flowers and good growing!
