Yes. Maybe more than one appliance timer. I have the repeat cycle timer plugged into one appliance timer. The appliance timer is set for 12 hours (right now) and I run the lights, a fan set to cool the lights and the repeat cycle timer from that. So the lights and cooling fan stay on for 12 hours, the repeat cycle timer cycles for the 12 hours. The whole thing shuts off at night - lights, fan and mist. Then I have a second timer set to turn on a thru-wall fan to ventilate the tank for 3-4 hours during dark period.

Hi Ross, okay, thanks I will see what I can set up regarding the timers. Its "funny" but I starting growing orchids again determined to keep things small and manageable with respect to the number of plants and the size of growing area and recently I have started looking at taller grow areas set up which is a real challenge as I have reaching limitations due to my disability.
regards, m

Hi Buds...The relay is called Zelio and is distributed by Square D in the states. These relays are used for controlling machines, building lights, heating/cooling systems and even greenhouses. If you Google Zelio, you can get more info. There are also other companies that make a similar product. John
