Hi.
I have 4 phals and an oncidium on a raised humidity tray on my kitchen counter. This counter divides the room and above it I have 4 spots on a track, with grow bulbs in them. Not 'orchid' bulbs, just the usual 'grow bulbs'. The lights are about 3.5ft. away from the plants, and are on around 9 to 10 hours a day. I am new to orchids this year. The first phal I got as a gift, in full bloom. When the blooms finished, (
months later!) I cut the spike as directed. I did the same with the other 3 phals, and my oncidium as well. My question is: Do they get enough light to rebloom? The leaf color is a nice healthy green, and they all are putting out new roots on top of their pots. Am I doing this right??
