Keep in mind that LED light strips like this are primarily for low-level illumination, so the per-chip output tends to be pretty low.
Going with white LEDs, and a CCT of 3000-4000°K (they tend to have more far red than higher temp chips, and that's better for blooming), about the best I've seen for 12v strips is 12.8W/m, meaning that it would take several strips to make a decent light, just as in that video.
By contrast, I have two, 1.2m Philips Production Modules, and they are 54w each.
