Strong fragrance.
The smell is just like a wake up call in the summer morning.

All the boards used for mounting looks like a similar material .. what is the name of the material and is it readily available ...
Sorry if you have answered this question before but I want to try this way of growing phals...

I usually use the tree fern to be my mounts.
This material is very common in my country.
If you want to know how to use it,I can show you this weekend.
But,fristly,I have to find a phal to mount..  |

Violacea
Although those are belong to violacea,yet the fragances
are diffieret.
This one smells a little bit lemon flavour.

This one is still very young, and has no first flower yet.

I had been dreaming of it for a long time.
Finally I got it last week,I also found a large one from the vender,
but the price was higher than my budget, so I chose this one,
need more patient to see it growing up.

Here you find that your growing trick is mounting ,But one lady wants to fix them in to a pot.
I have seen in a thread phals mounted on trees .
Can you grow or phals are happy to be in a tiny pot ?
my phals are growing out side of the pot? I means roots.

In the wild all the phals grow on trees, so mounting is a natural way to grow your phals.
Phals can be planted in pots too. It is OK when few roots grow out of pot.
Otherwise,check the moss or other material whether it is acidified or not.
