My outdoor growing area
The first 2 are pictures of my first grow are, the next 7 are pictures of a new grow area that is almost done, still need to gravel the ground and decide which % shade cloth I will need once the sun is in the summer position over my Mango tree, the shade cloth that is up now is temporary and then I get to fill it up with new orchids. Enjoy!

Beautiful growing area. You have some very healthy looking orchids. I live just up the road from you, in Fort Lauderdale. Are you planning to go to the Redlands Orchid Festival next weekend?

Thanks Rosie & Tucker!
I would not miss Redland for anything, it will be my 8th year going, already have requested that Andy's bring a few and will be looking of course for more, have to fill this second grow area. Going to post new pictures of the new grow area soon and I have been working of a Bulbophyllum wall that I still need another sheet of coconut fiber and a few more Bulbs to finish.

JDT how did your Bulbophyllum wall turn out. I love your outside grow area and wished it was something I could do.

Cntry,
Thanks for the compliment. I am still not totally done with the bulbo wall, so far I have mounted 19 bulbo's and I need probably another 10-12 to finish what I want to do. When I was out this morning watering I decided that I need to move some of them around. For the last 3 weeks we have had temperatures in the 90's with high humidity and it is simply to damn hot after 10 AM and does not really cool off until dark, if you call the high 70's at night cool. I did get a new shade screen that has been put up but I still have not gotten the gravel put down. I am soaking wet by the time I get in from watering and all I do is stand and hold the hose, welcome to South Florida! Once I am done I plan on posting new pictures.
