It is good for the protection of the species we grow, and spreads awareness; not to mention growing beautiful plants is good for the soul, for you and for all those that witness them.

Thanks! I will post some information about what we do here in a new topic. This way, everybody can discuss about it.

This goes to show, politics are woven into everything, even our beloved orchids!
Personally, I support environmental protection and the protection of the individual species' DNA reserve. If removing a plant that is threatened from one part of the forest, so that it can flourish in another area without causing damage, I am all for it. I don't live there, and I will not make value judgments on another's lifestyle until I have lived in that culture for a while.
But, this made me think -and of course, I have to ask - If we can't respect each other, how can we be expected to respect the environment?:hmm

Steve, it's hard to be human. Nobody is perfect, we should know it. Sometimes people thinks that own the true and only what they believe is correct. I'm not perfect, besides, so far way form this. But it's hard to read unfunded critics without reply them. I will fight for it. If I'm doing something wrong, sorry: I believe in that and live in a country that we must believe that there is a way to help. Here is not a paradise, we have a lot of problems with our forests. If there is a minor way to help, why don't do it? I don't do thaaat much, but I try to do with I know.

Thanks for the "phenomenal photos". I'm trying to improve it :)

Well said. I feel that way too.

I agree - very well said. I find the forests around me interesting and attractive due to the variety of species that live in balance. That is also what makes people interesting - the variety; We just need to work on the balance part.
If we all thought alike, life would be sooo boring.
Enjoy the upcoming holidays -
