Hey There Bikerdoc and Camille, Solar Gem requests the 10inch wide and 3inch deep trench is to set the GH in then they will drill holes in the 10inch lip and pound in 2 ft spikes. The shape of the GH is somewhat Gothic so that helps prevent problems with the wind. On not ordering another Sun Glo which was my first choice was the overall cost.

Question for Bikerdoc the 2" or 3" styrafoam is that a vapor barrier ? Would that stop water from draining into the ground? I had planned on placing about 4-5 inches of big chunk bark under the benches to help insulate the floor. I also planned on placing some hardward cloth just as an extra measure for moles and voles. I found a vole in the potting shed once don't know how he got in there.
