Lots of buds on nobile-type Dendrobium
This is my first ever Dendrobium. It is Den. Super Model 'Platinum'. I bought it last winter in bloom on one cane. Since I bought it, it has grown five new canes. Three of them are completely covered in buds, and the other two (they are the two youngest canes) each have a few. I have no idea why that one cane is so much taller than all the others haha. I think it's gonna be pretty fantastic when they all open.

When the blooms are open, it may look like mine last blooming season.

That’s going to be just lovely! I still can’t quite get the hang of nobile types. Oh well, one of these days...

Stop fertilizing your nobiles August 15 and put them outside for the winter. Not now when you're below freezing.
