anosmum or Pingtung Cowry?
Just received this as cretaceum x anosmum, which has been registered as D. Pinktung Cowry. I'm not convinced! Looks like a pure and rather floppy D. anosmum. Smells like it, too.
Currently there is disagreement as to the species status of D. creatceum, which is considered a synonym to D. polyanthum, which was crossed to D. anosmum some 120 years back, D. Mentor. This cross has a quite round lip and shorter, stiffer tepals. It is still around in Taiwan, apparently.
In short, any opinions or experiences with any of the mentioned? Chime in. It's mystery time....again...still.
