The white varieties from Yamamoto are the easiest to bloom since they do not require as much of cooling in order to bloom well, although proper cooling will make a big difference.
Sea Mary, Spring Dream ( both white and pink forms), Fancy Angel 'Lycee' are the most warmth tolerant hybrids from Yamamoto.
Other varieties will either bloom very poorly or not at all without proper cooling period.
My Oriental Smile 'Fantasy' is making buds now.
Only a handful but better than nothing.
My place is not cold enough for nobile hybrids but they bloom, poorly. lol
This variety bloomed abundantly like it should in the spring after proper cooling.
Since I lost that option, this plant has been behaving strangely. It will make a few flower and more than once a year. So far, I've seen it flower throughout the year except for summer, but mostly around deep winter.
I enjoy the flowers regardless and they smell very nice!

That's the one I have a problem with the Oriental Smile and the Country Girl'Warabeuta'
They are all in the same Cold Room...so don't know why they don't want to make blooms
