What type of den ?
Just brought home another dendrobium It isn't like my other two den/phals. Is this a den/phal type, or is there something else in its back ground ?
Its quite large, and the cane and leaves look like a nobile, but it is like a den/phal type in regards to blooming [from on top]
Appreciate any thoughts

A hybrid with antelope dendrobium influence.
I have a similar one called 'warawan'.
I find, pretty consistent moisture, I try to keep mine pretty evenly damp. Bright light. Cattleya levels. And more even temperatures. No rest.
So basically treat it like a phal den but a little warmer.
It's beautiful btw.

" I have a similar one called 'warawan'."
I have searched and searched, but can't find a photo of this . Do you happen to have a picture of your warawan?

Sure.
It's not exactly the same as yours.
Mine has a bit more antelope I think.
Please excuse the terrible photo quality.

That is so pretty!
I would have definitely bought it myself.
If it ever grows keikis...
Yes, it is definitely a phal/spatulata hybrid.
Should be easy to care for given the warmth and light. They will stay in bloom much of the year if well cared for.
If you keep this a bit cool (but do not go under 65 or definitely not under 60), keep the plant dry and water only very occasionally to prevent any potential root damage.
I had a warawan as well. It got huge and someone on this site wanted, but I could not send it. It was just so big.
I gave it to a local member.

WOW, I just looked up serene chang, and other than a bit different color, they are the same!
Thanks so much for the name, [and no, mine is still a noid,] but at least I know the type, and what it resembles
