Your description and the mistaken spelling of the name reminds me of
Dendrobium cinnbarinum if it isn't
Den crumenatum.
This orchid has thin, ribbed pseudobulbs closer to the bottom of each growth. The top portion of the growth is very long and thin, like a bamboo or a reed. Leaves are thin, soft, narrow, and end in a point.
Flowers are brick red on the outer portions of the flower, and cream towards the center, with crimson flecks radiating out from towards the center.
It comes from Malaysia and parts of Indonesia. This species loves moisture, and is pretty difficult to grow in bark here in SoCal.
Does this look familiar?
Dendrobium cinnabarinum
