in two years!!!
I got this plant over two years ago. The mature cane was about 20 in tall and it had a long spike (longer than the cane) with over 40 flowers.
It stayed in bloom for a long time, but the roots were all dead. I made me wonder how that was possible! lol
As the name indicates, the flowers are very nicely scented. I was determined to save the plant and managed to get one keiki out of the rootless mother cane. It was barely 4 in tall last year.
In the spring this year, another new cane started and matured at 7 in tall, but with more leaves and much fatter pb, AND a mini spike with 9 flowers.
I'm very hopeful about next season's blooming.
During the day time, the fragrance is really nice!
Sorry about the rather blurry photo.
