Some NoID Phals

Most of my Phals are blooming right now. There's one holdout, but I'll give him a break for now. It feels like I've had a long dry spell of no blooms. That's dangerous because then I'm tempted to buy more orchids.

Number 1, 3, and 4 are rescues from the clearance rack at Lowe's. It's the first time I've seen Number 4's blooms, so I was pleasantly surprised. Number 4 is due to be repotted soon. He's got roots coming out everywhere. Number 2 is a phal I bought at Aldi a few years ago and is a very reliable bloomer. Those blooms are coming off an old spike but there's another new spike that hasn't bloomed yet.

Beautiful! It is exciting when you have no idea what blooms may look like, to finally find out, especially when they are so nice!

Thanks Dave and Sonya! I think that's why I often can't resist a rescue. It's exciting to see how they turn out.
