This is a dendrobium hybrid I bought in September last year in bloom. The bloom lasted for six month! (from September till February). It's a record for me.
It started to grow two new canes that matured to a slightly bigger than the previous ones.
Each are bearing a long spike with about 11 buds (that's exactly how many flowers were on each spike last season as well)
So I'd say I've done a good job or this plant has done a good job this season.
The picture is rather dark, but it's in a location where no matter what I do, it comes out rather dark.
You can still see the large pepper shaped bud.
The second picture shows what the flowers look like. It's a large spatulata form.
