Dendrobium tannii - flowers

I obtained a Dendrobium tannii in early February. Imagine my surprise when what I thought were odd leaves turned out to be flowers... My orchid "noob" status writ large!

I believe some people consider this species invalid and would list it as a compact growing Den. bracteosum, or Den. bracteosum var. tannii.
