Dendrobium formosum

I bought this one 3 years ago and it always blooms out nicely for me. Last year after blooming it started to decline in health and I lost 3/4 of the plant. Thankfully it still managed to bloom for me this year!
The flowers on this species are very large, about the size of the palm of your hand...
The lip color darkens with age. The flower in the upper right hand corner is the newest to open and you can see the difference in the pale yellow vs. the almost orange color of the older flowers.

Cool, glad it still managed to bloom. I like seening how it darkens as well.

Do you think the plant is doing OK now or is it still in bad shape?

The viable parts of the plant that survived are fine and it did put out some new growth, so it seems to be coming around
