Thumbs up Den. atroviolaceum v. compalum x ...

This is a long winded name tag: Den. atroviolaceum v. compalum x Den. finnesterae x Den. atroviolaceum. This is a new type of orchid for me -- my wife picked it out at Orchid Trails in Morrisville, NC. this weekend.
It appears it is growing like its Den. atroviolaceum parentage, like a weed from what I gathered in some previous posts. It is currently flowering on two canes. Two slightly smaller canes are spiking. And one of the three youngest/tallest canes is also spiking, the other two do not appear to have finished growing. Cane heigth is currently at 10". The leavs have a suble strip in them.
The flower sepals are a creamy white/green color. The little purple dots cover the back of the sepals. The petals are creamey white with few dots and a distinctive twist in their shape, The labellum is lime green with purple striations. A ns of 1-3/4".

very nice!
seems the size is mid-way between a big atroviolaceum and the "pygmy" - pretty sweet!
