Den. Goldschmidtianum
I got this plant the first part of June from a Hawaiian grower. It is a seedling in a two inch pot with one growth that is about six inches and the new growth is about fourteen inches. This plant is supposed to be a spring bloomer after a dry winter rest has caused it to drop it's leaves. Well, this plant decided it couldn't wait so about two months after I received it I noticed a large purple bump on the tip of the small growth that has turned into what you see in the picture. The flowers are about two inches and are very waxy and long lasting.
