Default A Spectacular Dendrobium

Den. Hawaiian Spectacular 'Mauna Kea' is one of the oldest plants in my collection. The plant is more than 20 years old. The plant won the Best Dedrobium at the Aiea Orchid Show beld June 12-14, 2009. This is one plant with two tall stalks bearing large white flowers. The stalks are 45 inches tall. The flowers have a natural spread of 4-1/2 inches.

Holy cow, that is truly amazing!!! 45", that's just shy of 4 feet tall!! I've never seen one like that in person, but surely it would make my eyes water. Congratulations, that is truly a prized plant!!
