What is a "duster"? Is it a plastic cover of some sort, like a little personal greenhouse?

I understand! Thanks. I already use a spray bottle to keep it moist. But I think you gave me an idea for this plant. I'll have to check it out.

Thanks!

I think I might try building a small, clear plastic cover of some sort to help raise the humidity around this Dendro. Some sort of mini-greenhouse for this one plant. But it'll have to look good as well. So I need to think on it a bit more.

how about a glass tank instead? easier to make it look good. and shouldnt be to exspensive to build

can just make it some what closed off so you will still get air circulation, that would also help against a very high raise in temperature. although i think you should be aware of that no matter how you decide to go about it.

That's a great idea, but the place where this plant is doesn't have the room for a tank. It's in my master bathroom near an Eastern facing window. It sits on a ledge around the large, triagle shped bathtub. There is very little room on this ledge. The plant is so tall that it won't fit into my orchid enclosure.

So I either have rebuild my orchid enclosure, build a small humidity cover, or just build a proper green house!

The small humidity cover is probably what it's going to be sadly enough...

Though the greenhouse will come someday. Oh yes, someday it WILL be mine!!!! MMMuuuuuwwwaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

sorry, I'm better now...

Well I just decided to make a transition to S/H culture for the this Dendro. I know I still need to raise the humidity for it to do well, but a transition to S/H I think is also needed. It'll be my first attempt at S/H, but I think this plant will be a good candidate.
