Dendrobium unicum
Den. unicum--This is last year's photo but my plant is in buds now and I expect it will have a decent blooming this year as well.

Den. nobile question
I have a huge soft cane Den. that I believe is nobile but it hasn't flowered for me. I have been told the thing to do with soft canes in my area is to put them outdoors on Mother's Day and bring them back into the shade house on Father's Day and start feeding and watering them again.
My problem is the damn thing won't stop growing like the others I have. It has two half grown new canes and two more just starting.
What do I do with it?

My unicum is in bloom as well - must have 100 flowers! A very rewarding plant - I recommend this one!
