Thanks again Terri! I've scene pics of the standard Norma Jackson and those are cool flowers, but like you said, who knows what it will be. I guees I'm just going to have to grow it well enough to see what the flowers look like. Yeah, that's what I'll do, I'l grow it! Ha!

Chas....well I think we have the same noid Phal....so I'm naming mine Carl too. It is a very vigorous plant and I'm sure it will grow well for you!

Dan, mine too is fairly vigorous and very healthy. It's getting ready to open yet another bud. And the stalk just keeps growing and getting longer each day. I hope it doesn't bloom itself to death!
No, but it is a great plant. Ok, so you and I have the same plant, so I say that we have a majority here and we have officially named this unknow Phal as:

Phalaenopsis carlnoidious

Huh?? What do you think??? Will it stick?

I think that's an excellent name! (writing on new label now) I need to repot mine but it's been blooming since December something and clearly has no intention of stopping any time soon. Maybe I'll sneak it into the next orchid show and put a ribbon on it (I will credit you on the label).
