Den lichenastrum
I know it's not in bloom but I couldn't resist the urge to share the pictures of the buds. This is the first time it's bloomed for me and I'm so excited that there are 11 (maybe 12) buds! The...err...larger buds look a little obscene but...

It won't be long now...Can't wait to see the flowers! Yours looks like it will have some color to it, as my regular one puts out yellowish buds...

Nice! Mine's in bud, too. I'm also curious to what color yours will turn out, as mine bud in a yellow/green as well.

What a neat miniature plant. I was so curious I had to look it up on Orchidspecies to see the flower. It is a beauty. The plant looks so handsome you must be doing a wonderful job growing it. Could you please tell us the basic culture needs?

Hi Jerry! Well, let's see...It's hanging about 4 or 5 inches below the lights in my orchidarium. It's getting about 2800 fc for 12 hours a day, constant air movement and being misted daily/every other day and fertilized and superthrived once a week.
OK that was a little more than "basic"....

Dana, I have mine in a Exo Terra about 5 inches from the light and I increased the humidity up to 80-90% about two months ago so hopefully everything in there will start growing like crazy soon. Oh and its about 60-70 degrees in there.
