Default Black Spots on Den leaves

I purchased 3 dendrobium plants last July from hhome Depot. The plants were healthy and did bloom. They have grown since and are in a huge west facing window. I live in Pensacola, FL so light is no problem. About 2 weeks ago i started to see tiny black spots on the leaves. The plants are healty and are in the original potting medium of bark. What do I do? have they cgotten some sort of fungus.

Thanks

Dennis, if you could post a picture, it would help us to figure this one out.

Without seeing anything, whenever I see something I don't like the looks of, I spray it with regular Listerine. It won't hurt it and it may help.

We'll be waiting for a picture

I second that, Susanne. I do the same using the old "brown" stuff not the minty blue stuff.

Funny you should mention that, Don...for the longest time, I made sure I wrote that only the regular original "brown" Listerine should be used. I don't know where I read that but I do remember reading it and always stuck to it.

A few months ago, somebody here (sorry, don't remember who it was) posted that they used the mint or citrus stuff because they had no access to the original. At that time, I was out of what I usually used and took a chance with the mint...with no adverse effects. I've gone back to only using the original stuff here but in a pinch, using the mint wouldn't hurt the chids.
