Default Friday Morning

This Dendrobium noid is just beginning. The spike must be a foot or more in length and the 1st three flowers have just opened.

I agree, WOW! Those are gorgeous photos, you really captured all the details on the flowers. I try to take pictures like that, but they never come out as clear as yours. I need something better than a point and shoot!

Photographic secret...did I hear secret!!!! Like any good chef, you never reveal your secrets and you always serve up your best....all the others end up in the dumpster! Seriouly, I have no secrets to my pics. There are several people on this board that take pictures every bit as nice and, in my humble opinion, significantly better and more photographically creative than mine! The way I "see" pics is that they represent the photographer's creative eye, which includes lighting, perspective, depth of field control, exposure control and of course the camera. But it is in the end, the photographer that takes the picture....the camera is only his tool to his craft. Thank you one and all for all of your kind remarks.
