Ross, I haven't had a lot of luck with blooms yet on these. They have either turned into keikis or have just dried up. I'm not sure if I'm not watering them correctly or if its the light or maybe even my temps. The plants themselves seem happy, as they have put out new growths from the base as well. Suggestions??
LinhT, I love that Gokokinagashi - the yellow colour of the leaves is really striking. Show us some blooms!!?!

Thanks, Pheli. It is nice to have this kind of information. Do you grow any of these? I'll bet you see so many more varieties than we can get here. The ones that I have seen photos of were from Japan and it looked like most of them were being grown in the moss mounds like the Neofinetia. Is that how they are commonly grown?

shakkai, those stone pots are outrageous! Do they have drainage holes? Just love them.

Sandy, those are bonsai accent pots from
Erin Pottery so yes, they have nice large holes in the bottom. I love these pots!! And the rock that you see in the photo of Ginga was made possible by my wonderful buddy Gwen! Thanks to her, I have a very nice selection of beautiful rocks to use as accents to the Neos and Dens.

Hi Tom, I've been in the same boat as far as flowers. Though with the leaves being so decorative, I've not really worried about it. I would be concerned about the old canes drying up, though. How do your roots look?
