Most venustum alba that I see are green and white. I like the yellow tone to this one. Can't wait to see future blooms.

I lost two sheaths to mealies earlier in the spring, and the plant is sending up a new spike now. Yay!!!

Last fall I purchased 5 seedlings in 3" pots from SVO. These are from selfing of a colored (& awarded) plant, that is known to be 50% alba. One pot had a second plant, so I got 6, with:
2 having no pigment in leaves
2 having light pigmentation
2 having heavy pigmentation
5 of these are in bud, so I look forward to reporting on correlation between foliage pigmentation & flowers.
