I grow it right along with my roths, roth hybrids and other primary crosses. It really is finding the balance of light, water and fertilizer. You can have more light with additional water & fert. Less light, lower the other elements. Growing orchids is different for each grower because no one has the same growing conditions. There are a few keys such as oyster shell on sanderianum, but even those can take variable light, water, etc
Have fun and don't be afraid to try moving plants to other areas of growing, just give them a chance to let you know if they are happy there.
