I'm new to paphs and I found this one at the grocery store. I'm wondering if the browning on the leaf tips is normal or is it because of being bruised in handling or if I'm doing something wrong. I have one other paph. that is doing fine. I've had it for a couple weeks.

I really don't know but the split is something that does happen. Was it this way when you got it?

I have no idea about the brown edges.

The little damage just looks mechanical, it should be fine.

Possibly brown edges/brown tips could be excessive minerals in the water. This could be hard water, or it could be down to too much fertiliser. I've not had this on the type of paph leaves you have, but I've had it on the Maudiae type paphs. Don't know, it's just one thought

Thanks for your input. I use rainwater and very little fertilizer. I'll assume it's normal and leave it alone.
