Paph Seedlings - Hit or Miss
It is difficult for people, who do not grow Paphs, to understand why I usually buy more than one seedling of the same cross. I purchased 3 pcs of Paph Snow Child (= Snowbird x Via Muchos Ninos) this fall, and the first two blooming tell the whole story.
The third one will open in the next week or so, and the bud looks just as good as the 2nd one.

I usually buy two. Unfortunately, it means I have way too many plants now!

I agree, but is difficult for us to even get one. I prefer to obtain flasks, but unless I import I do not get anything new.
Where is the best place for me to import from?

A flask of paphs sounds like a grab bag of fun! Anyone want to send me a flask of Gloria Naugle? Love that cross!

I try to buy at least 6 plants of any one cross regardless of the genus ( hybrids only )
I have bought 10 - 12 at times. If they are not what I want I can sell them for a profit.
I have compots of my own Catt' cross I hope to flower all of them, all 500.

I have seen occasional flasks on Ebay, but not every seller is willing to ship international.
If you can get a group together, you can buy flasks wholesale from the Taiwanese growers. Depending upon the cross, prices range from US$50 to 200, and occasionally higher.
