Parvies are my favorite, brachys are my second favorite. Since the parvie subgenus is small and my favorite I feel like I have to get them all now! And yes, I'm rounding out my collection. I've given away many noid phals and am replacing them with mainly species paphs. I have 4 more to replace, might get some masdevallia or phal species.

I completely understand. I have an 80/20 ratio of species Paphs to hybrids. It's probably more like 90/10 with my Phals. I'm not sure what it is about species that draws me, but that seems to be mostly all I buy anymore.

My Paph. delenatii v. dunkel got a little rot in the base and is totally rotted now and can be counted as dead. I contacted Sam and he's going to send a replacement. My regular Paph. delenatii is blooming now! See here.

I already have next year's purchases planned out , probably 2 more things from Sam. A Paph. sanderianum flask if he has them available and a mature Paph. maliopense.
