I agree with Terri! I've only been to one orchid judging event, and even from that I could tell that it was all about "fat and flat". When something that wasn't fat and flat came up, they didn't seem to know what to do with it. So many of my favorite orchids are anything but fat or flat.

That's, like, totally so big box store phalaenopsis, ya know?
