Well, I fell off the wagon.

Winter has been so mild in the Pacific Northwest and I happened upon two intriguing orchids on Ebay that I just couldn't let go, especially after seeing their names!
One was Paphiopedilum Venus Knight. The flower is a bit dirty and travel-worn, but came through decently. I love the flower and the name on this one, and it has those beautiful venustum leaves, though a bit more matte in texture. Venustum almost has a sparkle in the leaves. I also love the pattern of spots on it and the little bumps at the base of the lip, shown in the last 2 pics. The other plant I ordered was Ascofinetia Moonlight Firefly, another I fell in love with for the name.
Went a little camera happy on this one...
natural spread just over 10.5cm
