If It's Tuesday....
We are having a wonderful day here in Michigan for the end of January. The sun is shinning brightly and the temps are in the low 50's!!!!!
Some Paphs are opening and I wanted to share them with you, since I haven't been around much.
I was going to wait until the 3rd flower opened but by the time it does the 1st may not look so good.
I don't know about these two because I've had some people tell me they are the same, but they don't look the same to me and it isn't just in a name. Whatever they are, they look pretty good to me.

I think you are correct. The In Charm Greenery x spicerianum and the Yerba Buena x Golden Days are correct names for your two different crosses. The pedigree on the YB x Golden Days is interesting. All the major paph breeders over the years seem to have had a plant involved. Very nice. There is some spicerianum in the breeding, hence some similarity.

Charlie, I'd be interested in what you know as to the pedigree of the YB x golden Days. Thanks

I am new to growing Paphs...I used to just live vicariously just looking on others blooms...and your flowers are just amazingly beautiful.
I hope my Paphs will bloom soon

I love Paph. Vanguard! It's a beauty! I don't think your other two look at all like the same plant. I think that maybe those other people need to either get their eyes checked or their Rx changed!
