Wow, eight years! Incredible patience. What did you do this time around to get the paph to bloom?
It is a magnificent flower. Great job!

Hi, Terri. Thank you. I bought a single growth plant with a bud from our friend, Briggs Hills 8 years ago at the show. Since then, it declined for a while and came back. All it did was growing.
I am surprised when I saw the bud coming up in late March. Once it finishes bloomin, I need to repot. There are 5 growths in a pot. Would you like one if a piece breaks off?

Pete, to be honest with you, I have no idea as to what triggered the plant to initiate the spike. I wish I would know.
I was told once that it needs to experience some cold temparature. So I did 2 years ago and nothing happened.

Oooh! That would be amazing! Thanks!! I don't think Helene has this one anymore. I tried to buy one from her a couple of years ago.
