Default Paphiopedilum Hiro Fusion

I recently bought one Paphiopedilum Hiro Fusion (godefroyae ‘Banana Splahs’ x Bella Lucia ‘Liberty Bell’) from Orchid Ltd... it came with a nice bud, and I thought it would blast. However it open to this... a quite deep yellow flower:

Even though I like the color of this one, the general shape and the dorsal petal are kind of annoying me... I am somehow a bit disappointed as it is not what I was expecting Orchid Web: Paph. Hiro Fusion (I was expecting a better shape)

I have discussed this plant with the guys from Orchids Ltd. and they have shown me some other plants from teh same cross.. most ofthem have better shape (so, I had bad luck here), however it seems that my plants has the deepest yellow (most plants are white or slightly cream... well, I could say I have good luck here - although, I prefer white Brachies)

The flowers is pretty large 7 x 6.5 cm and slightly fragrant...

as I always do, I will wait for the 2nd and/or 3rd bloom to see if the chape improves...

I love the colour and the red spotting. The flag looks a little small compared to the rest of the flower so I can see what you mean. But it's still a pretty one.
