Green/White Paph Maudiae Hybrid
I bought this plant last year from IncredibleOrchids. It was in bud when I got it and bloomed beautifully, despite being knocked in the floor by one of my cats.
I noticed the other day a growth coming out of the center of the leaves and thought it was just another leaf. I noticed that as it got bigger it started more and more to resemble a closed bud. So this is where we are now. This plant is probably one of my favorites. Even more so now that it's going to bloom for me!! This will be the first orchid I bloomed on my own!! YAY!!
And, on top of having a bud growing, I've got some new growth at the base of the plant! I love this chid!!!

Beautiful! I like the maudiae typs, even when not in bloom. Your plant looks very healthy and happy. It seems huge to me, or is that pot so tiny? ;-)
Congrats with the spike! I still have mine to rebloom :-)
Thanks for showing us the pictures!

Thanks everyone! It's very encouraging to see that it's going to bloom! It seems very happy.
Blueszz, the pot is 2", so it's pretty small.
