Oh good! I haven't seen any white tips though except for coming out of the new growths...will have to check when finished blooming. Thanks again!

You are using clear pots, right? Another reason to do so!

That's pretty funny - As you know what orchis refer to in the medical terminology which isn't too far off the 'mark' ..
(I guess there is no need to bring up Marty's thread or is there well, maybe for the newbies - Orchid Balls??? )

Watch your plant for a few more days to see if it is really done opening, i have had paphs that stall half way and stay that way for weeks before they finally open all the way just before they fall off, maybe your being too nice , put it near the garbage can and see if it gets perky all of a sudden.

Well, I moved it to the other windowsill with more light. It doesn't seemed to have done much over the weekend, but I will keep waiting and watching.
Ross, yes I am using a clear pot, but I get alot of algae growth in the pot which makes it hard to see. I am not sure why I get so much algae expecially since this guy is indoors instead of our with everyone else...

I get algae also. When it gets so bad I can't see the roots, I repot and clear it out. Mine get full sun at times and that speeds up algal growth. Algae can (and does) grow in pretty dim light as long as food is present. You can drench with Physan 20 every three weeks to keep the growth minimal.

Thanks for the tips Ross. I guess it's time to get out the Physan and re-pot too (after the bloom dies) since I just got a slightly larger clear pot size in this morning from a recent order I placed.
