Default paph dianthum

i just got this orchid last night at the local orchid society meeting and the blooming sample plant was gorgeous so i bought it. is there an "weird" things this orchid does or is it like most other paphs? i was told to give it phal conditions but a little less fertilizer. is this right?
thanks in advance!

Very strange grower advise. I grow my plant with every other type of Paph, species or hydrid quite successfully. Watering and feeding the same.

That size plant would need another 12 months atleast and preferably have a new growth coming away. P.dianthum is not a large growth plant depending on your growing conditions. Different growing conditions give different results. My plant is relatively compact.

Not to my knowledge or experience.
It can be prone to rot in the new growth if kept too moist in cool temps.

Once the dianthum reaches maturity you should get it to flower much more regularly than a Magic Lantern IMO even though the Magic Lanterns are Magic.
