Phrag. Nicholle Tower
I've never had much luck with Slipper Orchids until I tried Phrags. I now have two Phrags; the other is Hanne Popow.
This one came from Glen Decker at Piping Rock Orchids. Although I have only one flower so far, more are coming. This one is known for its branching inflorescence and multi-floral tenancies.
I grow this one in bright dappled light (outdoors in summer) and it sits in a small dish with a little water in it. I always try to use rain water since my tap water is very hard and overly chlorinated.

It's beautiful, and you're growing it just right.
You probably already know this but most phrags and their hybrids are sequential bloomers. The good thing about these types that branch is that it's very common for them to have 2 or more flowers open at the same time. In the case of Nicole Tower, I notice that the individual flowers last longer than other phrag flowers in my collection, so it's a real treat.
I never thought twice about buying a Phrag. Nicole Tower until I saw them in bloom, in person. The color on these is absolutely stunning. It's vibrant, rich, and velvety. Plus, these are very compact growers compared to the average Phrag. Eric Young, a very similar hybrid.

Carrie,
Assume that you got this in February at Deep Cut. Is this a rebloom, or the first bloom on this plant?

This is the first bloom on this plant - at least there is only 1 growth, so unless it is a division, it has never been bloomed before.
