I got mine from Windy Hill...

I have one division but it is promised to somebody else and won't be ready for another couple months probably. So I'm out too... Somebody needs to get some flasks going.

I received a healthy looking one (along with a couple Phrags) from Tom Kalina of Fox Valley Orchids today. Fox Valley Orchids,Ltd - Lady's Slipper Orchid Specialists Tom is very helpful, and I'm happy with all plants I got.

Five phrags in the front row are the ones I got today. All of them are in this transition chamber before they move to the main grow tent (the rests are Brazilian imports of this year). Mexipedium is the 4th from the left without the bottom water.

I was actually looking around on Flickr, and someone near me in MN has a 40 growth plant! I'm planning on touring the arboretum he's in charge of, so hopefully I'll get to talk with him about it. I'm bringing my Vanilla dilloniana, Botrychium virginianum, and a few other plants along, in case he wants to trade anything. He also has some beautiful Tainia that I'm incredibly interested in, as well as some seeds from a Eulophia-Oeceoclades hybrid.

Cute! I'll be getting one soon, probably from Tom Kalina at Fox Valley Orchids.

just wondering. What are you using for a potting medium? It doesn't look like bark or sphagnum. I just got one of these in bare root. I have it in moss right now. But yours seems so happy in whatever it is in

I also posted a picture of my Mexipedium xerophyticum a week or so ago. I also grow mine in a bonsai pot with a bark mix. I am thinking that the next time I repot I will add some type of lime since I read it grows on limestone. what is the substance you have on the bottom of your pot? I just have mine under T5 florescent lights. I have not put it into a terrarium. Mine just finished blooming and it was the 3rd blooming since purchasing it at an orchid show about 5 or so years ago..also my most expensive plant. It is now sending out a lot of new growth. It goes outside with all my other paphs.
