Default Phrag sheath

Here's a picture of my Phrag ecua-bess that is in currently in sheath. Phrag Ecua-bess is (ecuadorense x besseae) which is really similar to Phrag Olaf Gruss (pearcei x besseae), and they are compact plants
You know that your Phrag is about to spike when it forms this V-shape

hmm.... I wonder who has the faster developing spike...pearcei typed hybrid or longifolium type hybrid
