Phrag Nitidissimum
Phrag Nitidissimum is caudatum x Conchiferum. Grown intermediate and under bright light. Potted in CHC, sphagnum and perlite. The petals on the first flower are already 13" and still growing. I got this one just over three years ago...first blooming for me.

Nice one Wendy, did you miss your calling as a photographer??
What proportions of CHC, moss and perlite do you use. I assume you are using large size perlite (sponge rock)?

Thanks.
Actually my photos are very hit and miss. I only have a crappy point and shoot that manages to catch a good shot once in awhile. Nothing to do with me...I'm clueless about photography.
The mix is mostly CHC with a handful of sphagnum and a couple more of large perlite. You know...a pinch of this and a shake of that. Growing in a house (lower humidity) i find it beneficial to add a bit of moss to help retain moisture a bit longer.

Hi Wendy, is this the ‘Wilhemina Laarman’ clone that was awarded an FCC/AOS?

Beautiful phrag, Wendy and nice growing! I have a young cross of Nitidissimum and popowii "Hong Yantse' and can hardly wait for it to bloom, probably a couple more years.
