It's was lightly fragrant at first. But with each passing day the fragrance got stronger and stronger.
I'll be sure to check yours out! You always have the most lovely blooms.

I was! It was incredibly nerve wracking. I felt a little safer because of its price

Anyways, TJ and WF are the cheapest places for cyms here at $29.99 per pot. I don't buy any more because of the quality issues. plus they also suffer cold I guess. Each time I bought, they dropped buds like crazy. I got my money refunded each time. then decided to never buy them, but just enjoy cymbidiums as occasional fresh cut flower.
Even flower district charge about 50-70 per pot (not necessarily of higher quality) and you can only imagine how much they will cost once they land at my neighborhood florist. lol
Hell no! hahahaha

Sheesh. I wouldn't pay that either.
Here a standard Cymbidium is $15 at homedepot.
Then during blooming season Trader Joe's and the others get them in.
Homedepot remains the cheapest and the highest quality. During bloom season their cymbidiums are reduced to $10.
Trader Joe's is $20 but the quality is very iffy as you stated. The only time I wanted one was the one time I had no money.
It was a white mini with pendant style spikes.
This cherry cola was $30. I think in part because of the ugly decorative pot it came in.
I couldn't imagine paying those prices n

If you have a Costco (and membership), and don't care if they are noids - very cheap, and nice, Cyms. Bigger than what I've seen at TJ's or home depot (multiple spikes - I've gotten Cyms with 3 & 5 spikes) for less than $20

I do have a Costco! I've never thought too check there.
I'll give it a try. I'm looking for some more garden orchids lol.
