Interesting flower! The flower and vegetative growth look much like Paphinia.

Apparently Mendoncella was a later generic name, hence dropped in favor of the former. When you search for this one, look for Galeottia negrensis.
I likes fairly deep shade, but apparently like it very hot and humid too.
That is a marvelous one you have there, veekay.

Yep...it's a Galeottia nigrescens. And a nice one, at that. 
This one is definitely on my wish list. I drool over zygo-alliance plants. |
